Hanover College

Hanover College, a private co-educational liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA), offers 28 majors and 32 minors in such diverse areas as art, business administration, communication, computer science, laboratory sciences, foreign languages, mathematics, social sciences and theatre. For more than 170 years, Hanover College has been preparing students for the future by emphasizing a strong, liberal arts education and an open forum for spirited, independent discussion of ideas. Approximately 1,100 students from 36 states and 20 foreign countries are represented on campus.

Hanover College is consistently ranked by Money Magazine as one of the nation's best college buys. The 650-acre campus, with 36 major buildings all in Georgian-style architecture, is located in the Town of Hanover on a scenic bluff overlooking the Ohio River. Extensive research facilities and internship opportunities are available for existing industries.

On September 30th, 2000, Hanover College dedicated a new, state-of-the-art Science Center. The Center provides approximately 107,000 sq.ft. of modern integrated teaching and research space for students and faculty in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geology, and Psychology.

Ivy Tech Community College

The Madison Campus of Ivy Tech is one of 24 major instructional centers in Indiana. Full or part-time students can earn Associate Degrees and Technical Certificates in Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, Health Technologies and Human Services.

Ivy Tech's Business and Industry Training Division works closely with existing industries to develop programs that give students the skills they need to become more productive employees. Areas of training include: computer, welding, medical, frontline supervision, new workforce basics, electronics and automation, team leadership and team effectiveness. Ivy Tech offers state-of-the-art audiovisual and telecommunications capabilities for local business and industry as well as on-site training.

Purdue Statewide Technology

Purdue Statewide Technology at the Southeastern Career Center in nearby Versailles is one of 11 sister sites of Purdue University's School of Technology. The School of Technology is the third largest school on the Purdue West Lafayette campus. The Statewide Technology program serves as its delivery mechanism to business and industry in Indiana. Degrees offered include: Associate Degrees in Computer Information Systems, Organizational Leadership and Technical Graphics.

IUPUI

Accredited branch campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Facilities are located at 4601 Central Avenue, Columbus, and 901 W US Hwy 50, Versailles. Service area includes the 10 counties of Bartholomew, Dearborn, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson, Ohio, Ripley, Shelby, and Switzerland. Coursework toward Indiana University and Purdue University associate and baccalaureate degree programs is available.
